Taking a small break, Brainstorming, the future of my Youtube channel, and life
So, Hello everyone! Happy first week of September! Last month’s video playlist, Tostadas y salsas, broke my editor. It was alot to do. So, I decided to give her a month’s break. I’m also making her a care package full of self care supplies and some tshirts for the kids. My editor is also my best friend. So, I don’t want her to burn out. I appreciate everything that she’s done to help me with my videos and whatnot.
I added A Day In My Life video on my You Tube channel. The first day of Labor Day weekend, which was Saturday, we went to The St. Anthony’s bazaar. Something that we try to go to every year. Essentially, its a fundraiser for the St. Anthony Franciscan priests to continue their education and for trips all around the world.
Fun Fact: The St. Anthony’s Seminary used to be a house where a very well off banker and businessman built his mansion. James G, McNary. They sold the property in 1936 to Mexican Franciscans. The famous architect that designed The Rose Bowl, Myron C. Hunt, also designed the mansion.
I had been wanting to make that type of video for my channel for awhile. I also want to make an About me Video and/or post on here. Just as an extra part, so you (my viewer/fans) can get to know me a little better. I’m also thinking about starting a series on my channel about taste testing Mexican food from local restaurants. I think it would bring great variety to my channel. The month of September, I also want to make videos on Rick’s book chapter on aguas frescas which translates to fresh waters. It’s still summer weather here in El Paso, and I’m pretty sure a nice pitcher of Jamaica, Horchata, Agua de Tamarindo, Sandia or Melon would be quite refreshing… Our temperatures for this week will be in the low 90s. I don’t think we start cooling off until November or December. I’m also going to make a breakfast video, all about eggs.
Life. What can I say about my life right now? Things are good.
